Class Prep - Day 4

Today was the BIG event ... the shampooing!  :D   The morning found me driving to town to pick up the cleaning solution for the steamvac.  Then when I finished my errands, I proceeded to shampoo the far end of my class.  I then went home and did paperwork to allow it some time to dry.  After a couple of hours, I went back, moved some of the things that are still in the room to the 'done' side, and began the process again.  I rather enjoyed it.

Before starting the 2nd half of the room.

Ewww Gross!

This water Started out all hot and bubbly - that is Not how the story ended for it though!  There were nasty clumps of solid dirt in the corners of the container (the pic where I'm holding up the bucket).  I took a pic After I cleaned it out to show what it looked like Before I started cleaning!

I know carpet gets dirty - but even w/having the kids wear separate outside shoes and inside shoes to keep wear and tear down to a minimal (at least that's the goal), we really do track in a lot of dirt!

And this was why I REALLY wanted to clean my carpet!

This spot by my whiteboard has been a thorn in my side For.Ever!  There was a stain on the carpet from the dry erase markers.  Just from cleaning the board and what not.  It's like having white chalk dust under a chalkboard - only this is a whiteboard and we use markers.  You can see what it looked liked when I started to clean up by it.  These are my before and after shots.  Sooooo thankful it's all clean now!  :D

All.  Done!!!

Me and my Pal - Hoover!  hahha

(Gotta be careful how I treat him otherwise he gets all 'steamed-up'!  hahhahaha)
