A Nail or Two

My Grandpa has been painting as a hobby since his retirement a few years ago.   I was able to visit him this summer and he let me view his collection.  There were a couple originals that caught my eye and he let me take them home.  They've been sitting in my office waiting for their moment to shine.

The painting below is one my mom chose for me and I absolutely fell in love with it.  For weeks it's been sitting 'on' the back of my piano.  I thought it would look lovely 'above' the piano, so I set it there as a reminder.  Today my roommie offered to help me hang it.  Pretty much I supervised - but regardless I'm extactic it is actually Up on the wall!!!  :D
