Grandpa

I was working on my Dad's Christmas gift and wanted to post some of my 'treasures.'

I didn't know my Dad's Dad when he could get around well. I only knew him sitting in his chair, with his left arm immobile, and right eye shut due to several strokes. He never really talked that much. I always made a point to shake his hand, go in for a hug, kiss him on his prickly cheek, and tell him I loved EVERYTIME before leaving my Grandparents' house. I am soooo thankful I did that. It's the only connection we really had.

These pictures helped me see my Grandpa in a different light. These are from when my parents were living in Hawaii. How nice. I have asked myself for YEARS why they ever decided to leave!!! It's probably a good thing since I burn so easily!! :P ha ha

My Dad and His Parents

I love this picture of my Grandparents!

They seem so carefree here

This picture showed me a glimpse of my Grandpa's humor -- I see sooo much of my Dad in him.
I love my Grandma's sense of humor too!!! :D
(Funny I see my Mom and Dad here!)
I love how my family obeys signs -- I think we swim where we're not suppose to too!! :P

XOXOXOXO

Neat pictures! I always remember the green house they had near Mitchell and the loud airplanes.
