When the Going gets Tough - Keep Stitchin'!!

So this whole quilt thing is starting to get a little hairy!! Meaning, I'm pulling my hair out!! There's too many things sewn together causing thick pieces of intersecting material. Last night I finished the last three pinwheels, but only attached one to the rest of the quilt b/c I had to rip it out a few times. Either it didn't seem straight (And trust me I looked at it at ever possible angle trying to bypass ripping out yet another seam!) or it was straight but the seam was to wide, not leaving enough to connect the other side. I was getting really really really hot. Funny - if I ever make a quilt for warmth I'll probably be more warm making it than using it after it's completed!!

I left my camera at the house, so no updated pictures to post right now.

This weekend I'll hopefully be heading out to find a formal for our Valentine Banquet at church. The theme is Some Enchanted Evening and there's going to be a violinist and beautiful decorations and a delicious meal - so I'm going all out too. That night I'll have my hair professionally done!! Woaw! And I'll have on make-up! I can hear my sis already saying woo-hoo!! ;P ha ha Hope I can remember how to put it on. ;) ha ha I'm looking forward to it. I'm praying I can find a dress that takes my breath away but not all my loot! ;) I'll definitely post pictures of the evening.

Weather update: It's warmin' up!! Our high was suppose to be 7 today. I wonder if the mercury made it up that high! ;) This weekend is suppose to be in the 20's so there'll probably be a lot of folks out on the road. Heat Wave!! ha ha

I'm off to town. I have to pick up the ingredients for my 7 Layer Salad for Sunday's Potluck at church. Hope to have lots of updates after the weekend.
