Is That Roundtrip?

Since last week, every person, I have told about my trip to Japan, has asked about my airline ticket. When I say I purchased it for x amount of dollars they say completely serious, "Oh, is that roundtrip?"

At first I was answering with a Yes. The more people that asked me this though, the more concerned I became. Don't they want me to come back? Kind of makes me think my "friends" want me to sign up for survivor. Fly out to an island so they can enjoy silence for awhile!
