All Aboard

I know that's for trains, but it just seemed fitting. Yesterday afternoon a FedEx truck came down our driveway! What in the world? My dad started going to the back door, and right when the delivery man knocked it hit me (No, Not the Door!)...MY TICKET IS HERE!! I went running to the door, and the delivery man was handing dad the package, and I came up running saying, "It's my ticket, It's my ticket!!" The guy looked a little puzzled, but happy b/c he saw I was happy. So he took the package from my dad and said, "So I take it you must be aaaaaa (*Looked at his form*) Jessica. I said, "That would be correct!" :D Then he asked if I was born before 1985. I thought that was odd, but I proudly declared, "1981!" (What a good year!) ;) ha ha He said he had to ask in order to give me the package. After he said that I remembered the airline agency told me earlier that I had to be 21 or older in order to receive the package. Bittersweet. Oh to be 21 again. ;)

The tickets are all stapled together, and I said, "Woaw! I better be really careful that I don't lose any of these!" Then I showed my parents all of the tickets. My dad said, "Here, here give me those -- you won't be needing these return ones!" :O Always a jokester I tell ya!

Oh, when the FedEx guy was leaving he said, "Have a good..." and I thought he was going to say 'day' so I said, "You Too!" but he said "trip." instead. Then I felt bad b/c he's not going on a trip, unless you count driving all over the city to strange people's houses, giving them packages. So I said, "Oh, ok thanks! And you have a good day!" :) He probably thought, no other world is ready for this chick! ;) That's ok -- Reeady or Not Here I Come! (as we use to say as kids playing hide-and-go-seek)
