facebook is stealing my time

Who would have thought a site meant for "quick" quotes and what not would actually take me away from my blog I love. Sooooo much has happened that I have not recorded, and now *poof* all the thoughts are gone.

Driving home tonight I was thinking about how I'm sooooo busy, I don't even stop to think about what happened in a day ... let alone what took place last week. This is crazy! I want to enjoy life - not try to remember it once I'm in a nursing home! S * L * O * W * * * D * O * W * N

My family visited me the week before school started. Wooo-Hooo! Had soooo much fun. Have to write down some funny things the kids said/did while they were here.

First night - eating out at Grandpa's Pizza, Savannah says,

"Are you older than my Mom?"
me: No (*Feeling a little insulted b/c there's almost 3 years difference - which is HUGE once you're near 30!)
Savannah: If you're not older than her than why are you taller?

ha ha ha ha - had to laugh. Being only a little over 5' tall, I don't usually hear that I'm taller than someone!

While still at the restaurant Savannah asks:

"Why is your house so long and skinny"
me: Because it's a trailer, and trailers are made to be moved easily - sort of like taking your house with you instead of moving to a new house. They make it skinny so it can go down the road.
Savannah: Well .... where is the driver's seat?

HA H AH AH HA HHAH HA HA Me: "It's not THAT mobile!!!"

*last one I can remember*

Savannah: "Jessica, do I have a cut on my lip"
me: "Let me see ... ... *Pooches out lip* ... ... nope! You're fine!"
Josiah: "Jessica? Do I have a cut on my lip? *pause* ahhhhhhhh *Sticks out tongue super far* hehehhehe
me: "hah aha ha - Nope! You're fine!"
