prayers and soggy cereal

So this morning Savannah and I ate Corn Pops together. I said, do you want to pray, or do you want me to? She said, Ummm I will! So we bow our heads and close our eyes.

Dear Jesus

Thank you for this day,
thank you for this food,
thank you for Momma,
thank you for Daddy,
thank you for Josiah,
thank you for Grandpa Al,
thank you for Grandma Barb,
thank you for Grandpa,
thank you for Grandma Grace,
thank you for Jessica,
thank you for my cute little kitty (toy sitting on the table),
thank you for everything,
thank you for great, great, great, great, great, great Grandpa
thank you for great, great, great, great, great, great Grandma
Dear Jesus' name ~ Amen!

I didn't want to have a non-prayerful spirit - but at the same time I really, REALLY hate soggy cereal. So tomorrow I'll be pouring my milk AFTER we pray.

I do have to comment on the fact that she was very consistant with her "greats." It was six for each - I counted. I betcha these "Grrrrrrrreat Granparents" of hers never thought they'd be prayed for some 100 plus years later. She did had to have so many "greats" in order to get here! :) She asked if she prayed too long while we were eating, and I said, Well, I like that you remembered to thank God for so many things - b/c too many times people forget to do that. I hope she remembers to always thank the Lord.
