Below is what we were working soooo hard on:
I helped until about 7 ish and then lectured myself to tell Angela I was going home. I wasn't really being useful anymore. I was shuffling from here to there, forgetting why I went to different rooms, sitting down "just to rest" like every 10 minutes. When I left, there wasn't too much to do, but I heard the crew stayed until about 11 again.
When I got home, I gave myself until 10 to work on the jackets and then I was going to bed. Well, things weren't going smoothly - surprise, surprise! I started sewing my jacket, and the thread I had was sparkly metalic silver to match the material, but it wouldn't keep a stitch. It would pull right through the material. After struggling for a long time with it, I finally gave up, and started using good ol' white! I didn't get very far, and I had one more piece to cut out, so I went out to my living room where I had the material laid out, and I sat down to cut out what I had already marked up and pinned. I leaned up against the couch just to rest, and 10 minutes later I woke up with a sore neck. Oh boy! I figured I better get to bed QUICK! I mean, it's pretty bad when you can fall asleep sitting straight up!! So I rushed and cut out the facing, threw it on my sewing table, and walked quickly to bed shutting off lights as I went. I slumped into bed and was G * O * N * E gone!!!!
The next morning when I woke up, I had not moved one centimeter from the night before. I still felt a little groggy, but technically I was minus one night's rest!
