Solid Water

Well, it happened. Sunday morning my pipes froze. We had -30 degree temps so I can't really blame 'em. I didn't even realize I had a problem. Got up. Turned on the shower - and I had hot water. Thankfully I had just gotten all the shampoo out of my hair when it decided to stop!!! :O

My landlord came and fixed everything while I was at church, so by the time I got home everything was alright. Now I have the heat turned up, 2 faucets dripping, and - at night - the lower cabinets open to let the warm air in. Of course, this made for an uncomfortable first night of sleep b/c the dripping kept waking me up and then I had to go to the bathroom!!!!! I've since gotten use to it, and now I don't even hear the dripping sound!! :)

Any temp without a dash in front of it sounds balmy right now. ha ha
