Light, Breezy, and Oh So Soft!

Saturday was a shopping day for me. I was a little nervous, that after Friday's sledding fun, I wouldn't be able to move - let alone shop!! Surprisingly, I didn't hurt at all! I was SHOCKED!! I hurt worse after we had gone ice skating. (Of course having a tube of chapstick jammed up my hip bone probably accounted for most of that pain.)

April came over with Mikey, and after we ate a delicious lunch (Chicken Fettuccini, Green Beans, Fresh Baked Rolls, Sweet Tea, and Cake for dessert), we headed out to, where else but, Wal-mart. I had a list and I was doing really good sticking to it - I mean REALLY, REALLY good!! And then, I saw it. The red tags that scream -- WE HARDLY COST ANYTHING!! COME TAKE A LOOK!! So I did. The only thing that "really" caught my eye were bedspreads. I have a twin one, but it is starting to fade, and unravel in spots. The bed I have now is a full size, and the comforter that's on it isn't mine. It's a cabin/woods theme with forest green and dark blue. It definitely does not scream JESSICA, that's for sure!!

Even though the comforters were marked down, none of them jumped out at me. I decided to refrain this time until I found something I really like, not just purchase something that's a good price. I walked down the aisle and up on a top shelf I saw some more bedding. They didn't have any clearance labels though, but just the glimpse I got drew me in. (They were pretty high up there, that's why I just got a "glimpse.") I pulled one down and fell in love. The colors were lilac and sage, and it was just gorgeous - to me. There was no price on it though. I decided to scan it, but if it wasn't on clearance I would put it back.

I did a little happy dance in the aisle (and even let out a woo-hoo!) when the scanner said, "$17.00"!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D 50% off!!!! (well - I'm guessing b/c all the other comforters of that size were $34.00)

Now I'm all ready for spring. It's such a light print that everytime I walk past it, I can just imagine I'm smelling lilacs!

Just posting this picture makes me want to jump in for a quick nap! ;) ha ha (Nap - what's that?!)

Oh so pretty! Much better than the other one! It matches the purple and sage in the bathroom! Woot!

Ooooooh, pretty, pretty, pretty! I love when I find great deals -- I would have danced around in the aisle, too :P
