Goldy's Sparkles

After having my car a few days, I noticed, the color actually does sparkle!! I had to laugh when I saw that. The next time I saw Savannah I was all excited and said, Guess what?!?! Auntie Jessica's car has sparkles!!!!!! :D :D

Her reaction............

.....................* here is where I would insert the sound of crickets at night!! * ...................

She kind of shrugged her shoulders as if it say, "And you're telling me this because........." She ran off to play with friends and I was left there thinking to myself, ..........................

.............. * Again, here is where I would insert the sound of crickets at night b/c I had no thoughts running through my head! * ...............................

A couple of days later we were leaving church, and I was walking outside with Rebecca and the kids. We were parked beside each other and I was going to put Savannah in her seat and buckle her in. I turned around to get her, and I saw her moving her hand away from my car. She looked up at me with her big beautiful eyes that were shining in the moonlight, and with the cold air blowing on her face she put her hand up beside her mouth and whispered to me, "I touch the sparkles!" and then the biggest smile appeared on her face and she put her arms out for me to pick her up!

Talk about a tear jerker!! I have to admit, I was grinning like a fool the entire drive home. Which granted is only like 3 minutes....but still....grinning like a fool the whole way!!! I think Goldy was happy too....for she received a precious gift that cold winter's night .... she felt the touch of an innocent loving child and nothing is more powerful than that!
